PACE MD’s MedSpanish First/Second-Year Medical Student (MS1/2) Summer Elective program is ideal for students seeking to develop the vital language skills and cultural literacy necessary for success in the multicultural healthcare field. Designed for students during the summer between their first and second years of medical school, the four-week program combines individualized Spanish language instruction with opportunities to shadow physicians in a variety of medical settings. Additionally, students are invited to complete certification courses, participate in health and wellness brigades organized by the Health Ministry and train locals in basic life support and CPR where appropriate.
